In Bushenyi–
Ugandans have been urged not to fear debating matters pertaining to removal of age limit in the constitution of Uganda as the government is planning to table it in parliament any time.
The call was yesterday sounded by Bishop Lwele; the overseer of born- Again churches in Uganda when he was addressing the church leaders in a one day agricultural conference at Multipurpose hall in Bushenyi-Ishaka Municipality.
Bishop Lwele disclosed that he has selected a fraternity of lawyers to provide legal services for Ugandans who are fighting to protect the 1995 constitution of Uganda.
“We are going to resist any step that government will take to change the constitution of Uganda”Lwele asserted.
Lwele disclosed that all government programmes aimed at modernizing agriculture have totally failed to yield fruits due to political leaders who engage in bloodshed, witchcraft and sexual immoralities.
He argued that Bonabagagawale, NAADS and Operation wealth creation programmes have absolutely failed to improve income among Ugandans since they are being practiced on barren land.
The man of God says when a leader sins, the land becomes affected thus becoming barren until when it is liberated.
He appealed to all Ugandans to liberate their land if they are to practice modern farming and get out of poverty.
Lwele further disclosed that in conjunction with agricultural experts he has started new methods of improving agriculture where irrigation is used as a key tool.
He said they have started banana growing project in Kanganve in Luweero district where farmers get free training.
