MAN DISAPPEARS WITH OVER 60M SOCIETY FUNDS

Police in Kagadi district is hunting for a man identified as Henry sseremba after disappearing with over 60 million shillings for 200 people in Kagadi district.
Mr. Henry is believed to have started a microfinance group in the district called capital micro financial services where residents saved their money.
Friday over 70 clients stormed the offices to inquire about their loans and their money since it has been locked for two days after applying for loans they expected in two weeks time.
Six cashiers who were at the office to rushed to police for fear of being lynched by angry residents.
Ms. Mary Nyakaisiki and Mr. Alinaitwe Muhereza one of the cashiers at the institution told mknewslink that they extracted 10% of the applied loan applied from clients which they would send to their boss in kampala through mobile money.
Mr. Vincent Ssesang the Land lord to Mr. Henry said he promised to send money on his bank account in the last 14days but has since failed to deposit it.
Kagadi district acting police commander Joseph Ayesiga saidt investigations are ongoing as he is to coordinate with other security operatives in the country so that Mr. Henry is arrested.
