MASINDI UACE BEST CANDIDATE SCORES 20 POINTS IN PCM

This afternoon, Janet Museveni the Minister for Education and Sports released 2020 UACE results.
Amidst the hard time of coronavirus pandemic, Kelly Talemwa Samuel a former student at Kabalega Secondary School Masindi has emerged best in the entire district with 20 points.
Talemwa who offered PCM/ICT managed to get 2 in General Paper, A in Physics, A in Chemistry, A in Mathematics and 3 in ICT totaling to 20 points.
The best student who wants to be an electrical engineer told our reporter that he has been struggling with paying school fees.
“My mother has been hustling to get for me school fees, at first I thought I would repeat, and I never expected to get such points,” Talemwa told our reporter.
The 21 year old student, a resident of Kijura Cell in Central Division Masindi Municipality is asking for government sponsorship to make his dream come true noting that he doesn’t have money for further studies.
Steven Aliga the deputy head teacher Kabalega Secondary School explains that students have performed well due to the dedication of the staff and support from the community.
“It’s not easy to have best students both in UCE and UACE,” Aliga says.
