MBARARA WOMAN CUTS OFF CO-WIFE’S HANDS OVER BUNCHES OF MATOOKE

In Mbarara–

Police in Ruhumba cell, Rubindi Town council, Mbarara district have arrested a 25 year old woman for allegedly cutting off hands of her cowife over four bunches of matooke.

It is alleged that Robinah Nayebare cut off the hands of her co-wife only identified as Jane a resident of the same area.

Mildred Kyomugasho an eye witness told journalists that the duo had a fight which later forced Nayebare to pick a panga and cut off the hands of her counterpart.

Speaking to media the OCCID Rubindi Police Post, Ankunda Benjamin faulted Gidius Mwebaze the husband to the duo for failure to resolve misunderstandings between his two spouses.

Ankunda further argued partners to always use police probation offices in case they develop misunderstandings which most of the time result into domestic violence.

By the time we filed this story, Jane was nursing wounds at Sheema clinic in Rubindi Town council.
