MINISTER BAHATI’S POLITICAL OPPONENT LAUNCHES RABBIT PROJECT TO RESCUE POOR YOUTHS

Ndorwa West hopeful MP aspirant Gilbert Masiiko Bigweera has launched a rabbit project to help the youths earn an income.
The project was launched yesterday 1st November 2, 2022 a Rabbit in Rubaya Sub County Kabale district.
Speaking to www.mknewslink.com reporter after the launch of the project which was held at Kitooma Playground, Masiiko Bigweera who is eyeing for the Ndorwa west MP seat in Kabale District come 2026 said that he launched the Rabbit project after observing a serious need for livelihood among the youths of Ndorwa West.
He added that most of the youths have become victims of poverty and were not able to support themselves in terms of development.
Bigweera appealed to the beneficiaries to rear the rabbit and warned them against selling them.
He further said that he had already secured a market for the Rabbits saying that Most of the time the patients are advised to look for white meat which the Rabbits possess.
Some of the beneficiaries of these projects, Nuwagaba Herbert, Peterson Kukundakwe, from Rubaya sub county said that they anticipate to get Manure, Meat and income from the project
They thanked Masiko for remembering them through providing a long time solution than the politicians who have been buying them alcohol.
Residents appealed to the hopeful aspirant to extend the project to other sub counties saying that Majority of the youths in Ndorwa West are suffering and also need such help.
Relatedly Masiiko donated pens and pencils to P7 candidates at Kitooma primary school in Rubaya Sub County as they prepare to sit for their primary Leaving Examinations.
Gilbert pledged to continue supporting Primary Seven Candidates in Ndorwa west every year
Haryarimana Christopher primary seven teacher at Kitooma said that they have never received any donations from their leaders hoping that the donation would help them o academically excel their academic performance.
