MINISTER MUSASIZI CAUTIONS ON SPENDING AMIDST ECONOMIC CRISIS

The state minister for Finance, in charge of General Duties District Hon Henry Aringanyira Musasizi has warned Christian’s against spending on luxuries as the economy continues to shrink and the prices of basic commodities skyrocket
Hon Musasizi was yesterday attending Morning Mass at Christ the King Church in Kabale Municipality.
Aringanyira explained that government in an effort to manage the runaway prices is removing excess liquidity from circulation as a way of controlling inflation
He has asked Christians not to spend too much in these hard economic times because if they do, it will take longer to bring the prices of commodities back under control.
Minster Musasizi has appealed to the public to always put emphasis on working hard to fight poverty.
Father Tophil Owembabazi, Assistant Parish Priest at Christ King church while delivering his homily asked the Christians to strive for the Kingdom of Heaven by shunning hatred, robbery, immorality and lies.
