MITOOMA TRADERS ARRESTED IN KABALE TAKING WARAGI TO RWANDA

In Kabale–
Police in Kabale yesterday morning arrested three motorcyclists who were carrying 24 jericans full of local brew (waragi) to Rwanda
The three were traveling from Mitooma district to Kabale and were intercepted at Kaharo road block.
The arrested were identified as; Obedi Kabegambire 25 years, Gerivazi Nturanabo 27 years and Habert Musinguzi 29 years all residents of Kabale II village Karimbe parish Mitooma district.
They were riding motorcycles with registration numbers UFA 044N, UEL 210G and UES 051P all bajaj boxer..
Inquiries have commenced to establish where exactly they were taking waragi despite the presidential directive of closing bars. under Kabale SD 20/06/05/2020 refers.
