MP DERRICK KABUURA APPLAUDS RELIGIONS FOR PROMOTING MORALS

The Member of Parliament for Bushenyi-Ishaka Municipality Derrick Kabuura Baimukye has praised religions for building a strong foundation for many families in society.
Kabuura said this during a fundraising at St. Jude Hiika Kikuba Catholic Church in Ruharo ward, Ishaka Bushenyi Municipality.
“I support worshiping places so much because good morals have originated from their gospel and preaching,” he noted
Kabuura condemned domestic violence in families, fornication, adultery, theft, and urged church leaders to continue praying and condemning such evil acts in our society to create harmony and security.
The manager National Water and Sewerage Cooperation for Bushenyi Ms. Babrah Amumpaire who represented MD Silver Mugisha as a chief guest asked the congregation to ensure love, learn saving, and live exemplary life.
Alozious Nshemereirwe the chairperson for Catholics at Kikuba church noted that the fundraising was organized to raise funds that can set up a mother Mary house (enju ya Bikira Maria), re-novate the church building and priest’s house plus fencing the church premises.
St. Jude Hiika Kikuba Catholic Church started in 1980s and is one of the biggest churches in the Mbarara archdiocese.
The function was also graced by mayor Bushenyi-Ishaka municipality Richard Byaruhanga, Evarist Mutambi priest St. Kagwa parish, Kijanamani Omutuuze, minister of finance at district Ronald Rwabutwagu, District youth councilor among others.
