PUPIL DEFILED FROM SCHOOL IN HOIMA, 4 ARRESTED

Police in Hoima are holding four staff of Lion’s Junior School in Kinubi ,Hoima City after an 11-year-old was defiled at around 2am on April 2, 2024.
The suspect allegedly accessed the girls dormitory as it had not been locked, grabbed the minor and defiled her.
Julius Allan Hakiza, the Albertine Regional Police Spokesperson told MK news link.com on Friday April 5, 2024 that they have arrested four school staffs who include, the school directress, matron, head teacher and the askari.
According to Hakiza, after the incident, the school administration did not either report the matter to police or to the victim’s parents.
The regional police mouthpiece disclosed that the matter was reported by a concerned citizen to the victim’s parents who in turn reported it to police.
Hakiza added that the case file has been submitted to the Hoima Resident State Attorney for sanction .
