REACH A TEENAGER WESTERN UGANDA CHALLENGES YOUTHS TO REPORT CASES OF SEXUAL HARASSMENT

Youths in Bushenyi have been challenged to always report any cases of sexual harassment despite the persons engaged.
This was sounded by Solomon Ndyamuhaki the managing director of Reach a Teenager Western Uganda, a community based organization that targets to motivate the youths achieve their future goals.
Ndyamuhaki and the team were on Sunday visiting the youths at Rweibaare Full gospel Church in Rweibare cell, Ryamabengwa ward, Bushenyi-Ishaka Municipality.
Ndyamuhaki said that many youths have sat on cases of sexual harassment especially when they involve relatives which has resulted into early and unwanted pregnancies, school dropout plus early marriages.
The team vowed to make Western Uganda region shine again and end gender based violence in families and among the youths.
Reach a Teenager Western Uganda supported the youths in Rwamabengwa with towels, disposable and reusable sanitary pads and educated them how to use them
They also appreciated political leaders, church leaders, VHTs, chairmen LCs and all well-wishers for the support they have given them from the beginning.
