It is amazing and surprising to see mature students celebrating to have scored a first class degrees which is unheard of and beshaming.
It is common these days for mature students to claim to have scored first class degrees in their course of three years and most of these are politicians, high ranking Ugandans who do so to disapprove scandals that go with lack of degrees and proper education.
This occurrence is common in Uganda and in greater western Uganda where www.mknewslink.com and mknewslink TV are headquartered. As reputable media houses in the region, this cannot go uninterrogated.
In this first edition, we bring you five top ranking Ugandans in this region who have lied about their degrees as first class ones and the best performers at senior six.
The first culprit is Nicholas Nuwagira RDC Mbarara
RDC Mbarara district born in Bushenyi finished his P7 in 1992 in Bushenyi town council and never went to secondary school for O’Level or A’level.
He recently found himself in a university; Kampala international university western Campus. He graduated early this with a first class degree in public Administration and management.
This is typically naked lie because you can’t finish P7, don’t go to any secondary school in the world, you are busy as an RDC as demanding as the job is, then you acquire first class degree.
There are four classes in degrees in University; pass degree which Nicholas should have acquired by mercy, second one is 2nd class lower (gentleman’s grade), the third one is 2nd class upper the second best, finally the mighty class.
The second person who lied about first class degree is Hon. Dononzio Kahonda former MP Ruhinda south Mitooma district.
After a lot of harassment and accusations by Gen. Otafire that Kahonda had no academic papers, he went back to the university called Bugema owned by seventh Adventist in Uganda which according to this newspaper is a lie.
Another person who acquired questionable qualifications is Hon. Naome Kabasharira for Rushenyi county, Ntungamo district who after facing skirmishes with her papers degree and Alevel went to do her A level and scored 100% which is a lie.
The fourth person is Hon. Muhammed Katooto former mp katerera county Rubirizi district who sat for his Alevel after many questions dominated that he never went to school and came with news to the constituents that he had scored 100% at A level. This is also a lie.
The fifth is former vice chairman for Bushenyi and assistant RDC for Rubirizi Matia Kakoni Mbebemire communicated the real truth after his results of Alevel and O level came out that he had passed averagely. He said that he passed, he got A in Kiswahili and passed the other two princials averagely. He is the only politician who spoke the truth that he had passed averagely and every mature student should speakout like Matia.
