RWAMPARA MAN ARRESTED FOR POSING AS WOMAN FOR TWO YEARS

Police in Mbarara district have arrested a 27 – year old man who has been posing as a woman for the past two years.

Justus Ainembabazi was arrested in Kagongi sub county in Mbarara district where he has been working as a bar maid .

His arrest followed a tip off by local Leaders who said they became concerned after receiving complaints from residents about the suspicious conduct of Ainembabazi.

SP Esther Kayema, the DPC of Mbarara, confirmed the incident and disclosed that the suspect, a resident of Rwampara district, has been disguising as a woman to attract men, using the names of Keitesi Nyakato.

She stated that the suspect is being held at Kagongi Police Station on charges of impersonation.
