SECURITY FORCES CLEAN FORT PORTAL TOWN IN CELEBRATIONS OF TAREHE SITA.

Security Forces yesterday morning participated in the general cleaning of Fort Portal Town as they celebrated the 38th Tarehe Sita Anniversary.
The forces comprised of UPDF soldiers from Mountain Brigade Muhote Barracks, Police, RDC Kabarole Mr. Asiimwe Steven, and DPC Kabarole Mr. Tibakirana Musa, Richard Muhumuza the West Division Chairman and 2010
Security guards, schools like Mpanga SS, Kabarole Adventist SS, cleaned Kabundaire market, Lorry Park and Rwengoma in West Division.
Col. Lawrence Kansiime the Mountain Brigade Commander tasked the Mayor Fort Portal Rev. Muhanga Willy who did not attend the cleaning to prioritize the general cleaning of the town.
According to Col Kansiime, Fort Portal cannot be a tourist city yet it’s stinking.
He said that according to what they have witnessed, the town needs more cleaning thus asking the political leadership not to ever wait for such events so that towns be cleaned.
Kansiime further asked the soldiers from western part to embrace OWC program since the governments core target is to develop every Ugandan.
