SHEEMA JOURNALISTS TO FACE IT HOT AS DISTRICT BOSS VOWS TO DEAL WITH MEDIA

Sheema district leaders have turned at their district chairperson Can. David Kabigumira for barking at media.
Kabigumira on Monday while at Kabwohe division main hall during the district budget conference, vowed to deal with media harshly which turned into exchange of words amongst district leaders.
He noted that media hates him and that they only write negativity about him.
“I have been so lenient before media but since they don’t want to change, we shall fight in a broad daylight I’m tired of fake information,” Kabigumira said.
In reaction to the district chairmans words, Jackson Musinguzi councilor Shuuku sub County wondered why the former would talk like that.
Musinguzi adds that media publishes well researched information
“I strongly know that these people of media before they publish information, they first get the real source and I hope they write what is correct.
All these came after the news circulating in different media houses indicating that Kabigumira is promoting religious differences in the district the matter which was reported to the president.
Journalists have always found hard time while covering Sheema events whereby most of the have been mistreated and at times beaten.
The affected journalists include; Vision group’s Ddamba Wiziri and Sheikh Abdurhatif, NBS’ Shillah Nakabuye among others.
