SHEEMA OLD WOMAN ATTACKED WITH PANGA BY TWO ASSAILANTS

An 80 year old woman in Sheema is nursing injuries after she was attacked by two unknown assailants who wanted to take her life.

The victim Jane Kirabo is a resident of Rutooma, Bugongi town council Sheema district.

Residents intimated to www.mknewslink.com that assailants broke into the old woman’s house after breaking a metallic door at around 1200am on the night of 14^th June,2021 and injured her with a panga.

Pasias Mukwategye the Rutooma chairman local council I suspected that the assailants thought the old woman had a huge amount of money having sold her coffee.

Joseph Muhindo the officer in charge of Bugongi Police post noted that investigations into the matter are still ongoing to arrest the two assailants

By the time we filed this article Jane Kirabo was nursing wounds at Hope Medical centre in Bugongi town council

Such incidences are on a rise in sheema District and the community liaison Officer Sheema police station Mary Mukago is now appealing to the youth to look for what to do rather than engaging themselves in bad acts.
