SHEEMA POLICE STRANDED WITH 8 YEARS OLD CHILD.

Police in Sheema are stranded with an 8 years old boy Kaijuka Emmanuel who escaped from his parents in October this year and doesn’t know his home area.
According to Ngeresa Jane the station officer in charge of child and family protection unit in Sheeema district,Kaijuka has so far told them three different areas of Kyamuhunga in Bushenyi district, Kashaka in Mbarara and Mitooma saying that it’s where he comes from.
Ngeresa said that the police is worried because Kaijuka keeps on escaping from police and he demands that he wants to go to his home area.
Ngeresa advised men to produce only few children whom they can take care of.
She also asked women to go on family planning since its free of charge such that they can fulfill their responsibilities as parents.
She added that parents should know their responsibility of protecting their childrens’ rights saying that others are praying for children while others are neglecting them.
Kaijuka Emmanuel told www.mknewslink.com that he missed his way while from school in the evening adding that his parents are Ahebwa Joy and Kaijuka Gasom of Kagunga village in Kyamuhunga Bushenyi district but that he cant recognise where his home is.
Sheema central police has recorded more than 7 cases of child neglect in two months of October and November this year.
