SHEEMA: TWO MEN ARRESTED FOR STEALING POWER DROPOUT INSULATORS

Police in Sheema district have in its custody two men suspected of disordering residents by stealing 14 power dropout insulators in 5 villages of Sheema.
The arrested Latif Batambuze aged 27 a Musoga and Medard Mwebembezi 25 both residents of Lyantonde and others at Large were nabbed red handed on yesterday morning 15th Oct by residents, according to Police.
It is alleged that Latif, Medard and others at large have been stealing power insulators from Kyengando, Mukono, Masheruka, Nyakanoni, Rwichumu villages all in Sheema district.
According to the Greater Bushenyi Police mouth piece SP Martial Tumusiime, the suspects have been traveling on a motorcycle Reg. No UEW 579T which was totally destroyed by angry residents.
The remains of the destroyed motorcycle were taken at Sheema Police Station and the case was registered under file No CRB 736/19 as investigations into the matter are ongoing.
