SUSPECT DIES IN BUSHENYI POLICE CELL

Police in Bushenyi are investigating circumstances under which a suspect died in a police cell.
The suspect identified as Anthony Twijukye, 27, was today morning found dead inside the Bushenyi Central Police Station as they carried out a daily inspection.
.Bushenyi police spokesperson, SP Martial Tumusiime told www.mknewslink.com that Twijukye a resident of Karama village, Burungira parish, Ruhumuro Sub County, Bushenyi District, was arrested together with Alex Tumwebaze 26 on charges of animal theft.
Tumusiime said that the two were on Sunday morning arrested with stolen pigs, taken to Ruhumuro police post, and then transferred to Bushenyi central police station.
He said that they are waiting for the chief magistrate Bushenyi for the inquest act, so that the body can be taken for postmortem before the next course of action.
