SUSPECTED MURDERER OF RADIO JOURNALIST BETO NOT TO BE RELEASED

The murder key suspect in the case of a radio journalist Allan Mandela Mateeka who was arrested two weeks ago from Kizinda after mknewslink.com published a story about Bushenyi Police’s hunt for him will not be released according to a credible source at Bushenyi police station.

Rashid Kansiime alias Beto has been in police custody for two weeks and rumors had it that the state attorney had written in the file that Beto has no case thus should be fled by Police.

A source close to CID department told www.mknewslink.com today afternoon that the case file for Beto is still at the state attorney’s office and he is still perusing through.

The source added that it is not true that the file has been sent back to Police, it is still at the Resident state attorney’s office.

Another source at Bushenyi CID department noted that the investigating officer attached the phone conversation between Loyce and Beto before the murder of Mandela.

A credible source told www.mknewslink.com that CID has gathered enough evidence and they are sure that the state attorney will not dismiss the case but he will maintain it and Beto is taken to court on charges of murder.
