Former Mitooma District RDC and now the FDC party flag bearer in Sheema North By election, Guma Nuwagaba Betikura replied to people’s questions on why he joined FDC abruptly saying that even the authorities in NRM were also biased.
While campaigning in his home area in ‘ omukaseeta’ Buringo parish in Masheruka town council on Wednesday, Guma noted that Chairman NRM electoral commission Dr Tanga Odoi slept at Naome kibaaju’s home (now NRM flag bearer) a day before NRM primary elections which portrayed bias and un fairness in the party.
“Odoi who heads NRM electoral commission slept at KIBAAJU’S home a day before NRM primary elections which is un fair, said the former RDC
Guma added that the NRM electoral commission at many instances neglected him even when he was in need of their help.
He (Tanga Odoi )found me at Kanyeganyegye police station coming out from the prison, I explained to him what happened to me but the only thing he did was to drive his car and left, what did you want me to do, is that equality in a party ? ” he explained.
