TAXI KILLS S.2 STUDENT IN MBARARA

The students and school authorities at St.Pauls Kagongi Secondary School in Mbarara district are mourning one of their own students who was knocked dead at Ruhumba Trading centre on Mbarara-Ibanda road.
The 16-year-old Reagan Turyasingura was killed by a speeding Taxi Registration number UBK 020E that lost control, knocking the student dead who was riding a motorcycle registration number UFH 078F Bajaj Boxer as he made his way to Rubindi town where he was vending fruits.
Eyewitness Omutaaka Yeremiah said the speeding taxi, which had passangers on board ,was coming from Mbarara city direction and heading towards Ibanda municipality.
St.Paul Kagongi head-teacher,Venance Musinguzi confirmed to mknewslink.com that the victim of the Sunday’s accident was in senior two class and was in second term holiday preparing to report for third term on monday.
By press time ,the student’s body had been taken to Mbarara Regional Referral Hospital mortuary for postmortem.
