Thousands of people from different circles of life mainly from Bushenyi Ishaka municipality thronged St. Kagwa play ground in Bushenyi town to witness the manifesto launch of one the candidates for Bushenyi Ishaka municipality NRM parliamentary seat, Hajji Iddi Basajabalaba.
In the manifesto, he promised to increase income generating activities for women, youths and the general public.
He introduced his two sisters who are spearheading the establishment of heart and cancer institutes at Kampala international university teaching hospital in Ishaka Bushenyi district.
His father Tycoon Hassan Basajabalaba advised the congregation to vote a person who has been with them throughout both in sorrow and happiness.
“One of the candidates my son is running against in the July 16, 2025 NRM Primaries has neither been to any burial nor party in this Bushenyi Ishaka municipality” Tycoon Hassan Basajabalaba observed.
Different leaders who included RTD mayor of Bushenyi Ishaka municipality, Mr Jackson Kamugasha, businessmen and Anglican church leaders JB Tumusiime, Appollo Kamugasha Kikwaya, Former area MP Odo Tayebwa.
Others are Current mayor and his deputy; Richard Byaruhanga and Milton Kasibure, Municipal, district and division councilors and the entire local leadership.
Top Musicians; Dr. Jose Cameleon, Ray Jea and Kachina valentine Muhereza among many attended the function.
The other two candidates who have been nominated by the NRM electoral commission include; CLS Marvin Baryaruha and CLS Nicholas Ndyakira Muhereza AKA Ekinawolovu.
