TWO PEOPLE KILLED, ONE INJURED IN HOIMA ACCIDENT

Two people were on Monday Morning killed in Hoima accident when the motorcycle they were travelling on rammed into a toyota Canter that was transporting Riham products.
Another person was rushed to the hospital for treatment in critical condition.
The accident happened near Riviera hotel in Lusaka Upper along Hoima-Kampala road.
Eye witnesses say that the accident happened when a motorist rammed into a Toyota Canter registration number UBB 648D that was coming from Hoima town heading to Kampala after losing control as he tried to dodge another vehicle that was coming from behind.
Albertine regional police spokesperson ASP Julius Hakiza Allan identified the deceased as Geofrey Muhumuza, 30, a resident of Bwihamba who was riding Bajaj boxer registration number UEN 495J and his passenger Florence Birungi, 40, a resident of Kinubi in Hoima city.
Hakiza added that the bodies were taken to Hoima city mortuary while the vehicle and wreckage motorcycle were towed to Hoima central police station.
