WATER COSTS RISE AS CRISIS HITS IBANDA

IN IBANDA——-
Water shortage hits Ibanda municipality as boda boda men adapt to selling water than transporting passengers.
Service providers Schools, Hotels and the rest of the community blame National water and Sewerage Corporation (NWSC) for failing to alert the community of the crisis as a jerry can of water is sold over Uganda shillings1000.
NWSC management in Ibanda district has pledged to rectify the problem urgently as it took them unawares.
Residents want government to come in and restore the situation before the crisis is spread in the whole district.
