Kazo district NRM party chairman Wilson Nkeija has refuted claims that the district NRM primaries were marred with violence among other irregularities.
Nkeija says it was difficult for NRM leaders to intervene since the results were from the village level adding that besides that, they are supposed to be impartial.
In an interview with one of the radio stations in Mbarara ,Nkeija instead blamed the mess on some candidates who wanted to cause confusion during the exercise.
NRM leaders in different Districts especially Kazo, Kiruhura,Ibanda, Ntungamo, Bushenyi and Isingiro are currently struggling to resolve a number of disagreements arising from the party primaries.
