IBANDA UNIVERSITY FIRST GRADUATION: 416 GRADUATE, CHANCELLOR AND VICE CHANCELLOR INSTALLED

IN IBANDA—
Ibanda University situated in Ibanda Municipality has held its 1st graduation Nov. 24, 2017 after 4 years in service. 416 Students graduated with certificates, Diplomas and Degrees in different courses.

At the same graduation held at the University campus, the chancellor and vice chancellor were also installed. Prof.Venansious Baryamureeba and Prof. Emmanuel Karooro respectively.
In his median speech, Prof. Karooro pledged to nurture the University into a bigger and International Institution based on a strong academic foundation.
He promised to follow strict guide lines that are set by national council for higher education, a body that governs Universities and higher institutions.
He added that he will preside over the University that excels in academic as well as in morals values in sense that Ibanda university graduates will not be corrupt but instead fight corruption. This means that they will be morally up right.
Prof. Karooro also noted that he will support staff Academic development where by lecturers and staff will attain higher qualifications and then perform best.
Prof. Baryamureba the newly installed chancellor, told parents, graduands and invited guests that he will work hard with his experience to make Ibanda University one of the best universities in Africa.
He warned the grandaunts to have positive attitudes and networks that will help them acquired good jobs and as well further their education.
