In Sheema—–
Former Bushenyi Ishaka Municipality MP Odo Tayebwa, Mbarara District FDC Chairman Stanley Katembeyi and three others have been arrested and detained at Kigarama Polioce Post by Polioce for allegedly inciting violence in the on-going Sheema North Parliamentary Elections.
According to mknewslink.com reporter, Micheal Atwakiire Bitunga, the five were arrested at mid day and are still being held at Kigarama police post.
Sheema North Seat is hotly contested between NRMs Naome Kibaaju and Former RDC Guma Nuwagaba of FDC who crossed from NRM.
Efforts to get a comment from Greater Bushenyi Regional Police spokesperson Martial Tumusiime were futile as he could not answer our mobile telephone calls.
Mknewslink Editor also spoke to AIGP Asuman Mugyenyi who is the director of operations and in charge of security on the on-going by election but still could not give a comment and insisted that the PRO Martial should speak to us.
