KIU WESTERN CAMPUS TO START DEGREE IN DENTAL AND SURGERY

Kampala International university western campus is in the process of starting a degree in Dental and Surgery to be done at western campus in Ishaka

This was revealed by the deputy Vice chancellor KIU western campus Prof.Patrick Kyamanywa after hosting members of the East African medical council in Ishaka today 2^nd July 2019

The East African medical council was in Ishaka purposely to assess the facilities of the new course and then make a report to approve it.

The visit of the East African medical council preceded a visit by Uganda medical council also in abid to approve the new course of bachelors of dental and surgery.

Members of the East African medical council while giving  comments after making a tour of the facilities revealed that they were amazing adding that they are to make a report today evening and release it tomorrow 3^rd July 2019.

The head of delegation Prof.David Ngassapa said that he was overwhelmed by the good facilities put up because of the new course and promised that the council will continue to work with KIU.

According to Prof. Kyamanywa,if approved the first intake will be in August Sept 2020 academic year.
