TEACHER KILLS SELF AFTER DEFILING PUPIL

Police in greater Bushenyi is investigating circumstances under  which a middle aged Teacher killed himself after realizing that police was hunting  for him on allegations of defiling and impregnating a primary six pupil

Ham Kamugisha 52 a resident of Rushanje village  in Mitooma District and a teacher at Kisiizi primary in Kiyanga, Mitooma is believed to have defiled a 13 year old minor of the same school and impregnated.

On realizing that the police was hunting for him, Kamugisha took poison and died instantly

Martial Tumusiime, the regional police spokesperson confirmed the news and said police is investigating the matter

By press time, the body was still at kitagata hospital where it was taken for a postmortem.
