WEST ANKOLE DIOCESE GIVES 5000KGS OF POSHO TO COVID-19 TASK FORCES OF GREATER BUSHENYI DISTRICTS

West Ankole diocese led by Bishop Johnson Twinomujuni has today given 5000 kgs of posho to 5 districts of Greater Bushenyi in a bid to help the vulnerable in this Covid 19 era
The function of handing over the food which took place at the diocese was witnessed by RDCs from the 5 districts of greater Bushenyi.

The district chairman for Rubirizi, Sylvester Agubanshongwire who represented his district hailed the diocese for remembering to give back to its people who have been giving to the church.
Bishop Johnson said the diocese provided transport for the food up to the district headquarters.
The Bushenyi RDC Jolly Tibemanya said that West Ankole is the first district to give a big number of foods to many districts ie Rubirizi, Bushenyi,Buhweju,Mitooma and Sheema.
RDCs who witnessed the handing over of the food were ;Frank Kyerere for Sheema ,Harriet Nakamya for Rubirizi ,Ada Nasiima for Mitooma ,Jolly Tibemanya for Bushenyi
The district chairpersons present were; Sylvester Tumukuratire for Mitooma ,Peace Tibakuna who represented Bushenyi chairman Jaffari and Sylivester Agubanshongwire for Rubirizi
