303 MASINDI CPS QUARANTINED OFFICERS DISCHARGED AFTER 14 MANDATORY DAYS

303 police officers working at Masindi central police station in Masindi district who have been going under mandatory quarantine together with their families have been discharged after 14 days.
The mandatory quarantine was declared two weeks ago by the Inspector General of Police Okoth Martin Ochola after one of their colleagues tested positive for COVID19.
Now, after completing the mandatory 14 days of quarantine and the continuous negative results of tests, they were discharged by the Masindi district task force together with the district medical.
Masindi district Health officer, Dr Patrick Baguma has said that these are free to join the public and resume their duties.
Dr Rogers Musinguzi, the chairperson Covid-19 case management committee requested the officers to remain vigilant and report any related Covid-19 symptom.
Masindi District Police Commander Irama Vicent who has been also under quarantine has said that however much they have been discharged, they will continue following the guidelines put by the ministry of health to no another officer falls victim of Covid-19.
Those who were discharged include 22 from Masindi main hospital, 26 from Kabalega SS center,43 from Masindi public school quarantine center and 34 from Masindi army barracks.
