In an interview with Derrick Bumukye at his home in Ishaka yesterday, he noted that he did not bribe voters in Ishaka division and central as its being alleged by candidates.
Mr Marvin Baryaruha strongly attacked the Bushenyi district NRM Registrar Mr. Barekye Alkangiro for holding a sham election in Bushenyi Ishaka municipality.
“Mr. Alkangiro the Bushenyi district NRM registrar goes in the genius book records for holding a very sham and strange elections in Bushenyi ishaka municipality” Mr. Marvin described Alkangiro.
Anald spencer also complained that the registrar alkangiro also rejected the complaint first but later accepted after too much pressure.
They told the media that they have even registered their complaint to the national NRM electoral commission kampala and the want the registrar Alkangiro to step aside and fresh elections are held.
In a telephone with www.mknewslink.com managing editor, Registrar Alkangiro denied that he never committed any offence against the NRM Constitution.
He added that he refused to hear the complaint of the four candidates because he wanted to announce elections first. “Complaints are heard after elections are announced” Alkangiro said.
