BUSHENYI NRM FEMALE YOUTH ELECTIONS POSTPONED AS INCUMBENT ROSE IS ACCUSED OF BEING OVER AGE

Bushenyi district NRM electoral commission has postponed election of female youth councilor on grounds that one of the contestants Rose Atuhaitre is above youthful age.

The youths who don’t support Rose Atuhaire celebrated and drove through Bushenyi and Ishaka towns jubilating that the elections have been postponed because Rose was above age.

The youth carried Rose’s damaged and crossed posters denouncing her not to contest alleging she is above age.

Rose started her political career as youth councilor in Kyamuhunga Sub County, then to district youth council and she is the incumbent female youth councilor a seat she is re contesting for.

Rose was contesting against Sheila Ainembabazi whom most of the youth support

In related development, Chrisbel Tugumomuriwe defeated Isaac Nahamya to take the NRM flag for male district youth councilor.
