NRM WESTERN UGANDA ELDERLY MP FLAG BEARER ASSURED OF WIN IN 2021

Joram Tibasiimwa Ruranga the NRM flag bearer for the western Uganda elderly has said that going by what he has done for the elderly, he is somehow sure that he will win in the general elections.

Joram Tibasiimwa said this today 20^th Oct. 2020 in an interview with www.mknewslink.com managing editor on the aftermath of elderly primaries for western Uganda and entire country.

He noted that as the chairperson of the older persons council, he convinced the president to introduce 5 seats for elderly in parliament.

He added that he is lobbying government to fund elderly councils from LCI up to the district such that they are able to do activities.

Last week Tibasiimwa defeated 3 candidates including a retired Bishop Zebedde Masereka with 215 votes which reflects 77.9%.

Tibasimwa is a former head teacher at Mbarara High School, district speaker greater Bushenyi among other portfolios.
