MAYOR KAMUGASHA MIGHT BE NOMINATED TODAY OR TOMMORROW

In Bushenyi—–

The reigning mayor for Bushenyi Ishaka Municipality Jackson Kamugasha might be nominated for mayoral race either today 22^nd or Tomorrow 23^rd Dec.2020 to run for the seat that he had retired from.

In an exclusive interview with www.mknewslink.com managing editor on Saturday and yesterday Monday, Kamugasha did not deny or accept that he would be nominated on the above two days.

He however told www.mknewslink.com managing editor that he would give him a feedback today though he did not specify the time.

Bushenyi electoral commission is supposed to conduct fresh nominations for Bushenyi Ishaka mayoral seat after one of the candidate James Magyezi died last week.

According to Bushenyi district returning officer Godfrey Mbabazi the nominations of the four; Lucas Muhangi, Don Karukubiro, Richard Byaruhanga, Guma Gumisiriza will still stand.

In related development, Martin Mumpe Rushengyera who had stepped down for the late Magyezi says he is ready to join the race and is expected to be nominated today or tomorrow.
