BISHOP SHELDON WARNS POLITICIANS AGAINST EXPOSING THEIR SUPPORTERS TO COVID 19

The Bishop of Ankole Diocese Rt. Rev. Fred Sheldon Mwesigwa has warned politicians against exposing their supporters to COVID 19.

Bishop Sheldon made the remarks yesterday 22^nd Dec.2020 while addressing journalists at Ruharo cathedral.

He noted that it’s quite absurd that politicians continue to carry out rallies with more than 200 people in addition to failure to meet the recommended guidelines put up by ministry of health.

“Some politicians put on facial masks in company of hand washing sanitizers during their campaign trails but fail to secure some for their Supporters,” the man of God added. 

Bishop Sheldon appealed to Christians to endeavor praying for the entire world as Covid 19 continues to ravage.

He called upon Ugandans to continue the fight against the pandemic by adhering to Covid 19 SOPs; hand washing, wearing face masks among others as they celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ.
