WILLIS BASHASHA TO TYCOON HASSAN BASSAJABALABA: STOP CONTRADICTING NRM PRINCIPLES

Following a video that has been circulating on social media where the Bushenyi district NRM Chairman Hassan Bassajjabalaba is heard saying that people should not vote the NRM flag bearer Annet Katusiime Mugisha, Leaders have come out to speak their mind.

Annet Katusiime Mugisha is in the race for woman Member of Parliament with Federica Nshemereirwe of FDC and Independent candidate Madina Lukwago Atuhaire.

Bassajabalaba’s comments have been received with mixed reactions from the NRM community who have accused him of supporting an independent candidate.

Willis Bashasha the director of NRM manifesto implementation said that it’s not good for a district NRM chairman to make such a contradicting statement as Ugandans count days to the polling date.

He added that he is rest assured that the people of Bushenyi will disappoint Hassan with his interests of supporting an independent candidate come 14^th Jan.2021; they will rally behind Annet Katusiime Mugisha.

The Bushenyi Ishaka municipality incumbent MP Gordon Arinda Cowboy told www.mknewslink.com that Bassajabalaba just wanted to satisfy his own ego and interests.
