BREAKING NEWS: NRM’S KIBALA VS WINNER FDC’S NABOTH, COURT SITS ON SUNDAY TO DECIDE NEW WINNER

Bushenyi chief magistrate’s court presided over by Jane Mugara has heard submissions from both sides of the applicant Kibala Mbika and the winner Naboth Nabasa of FDC for Rwentuha town council.
Court sat on Sunday to determine on the application filed by Kibala Mbika requesting for a recount of one polling station at Omukibare COU out of 9 polling stations.
The defense team is led by Julius Turinawe and the applicant’s team is led by Owen Murangira.
The contestation by the Kibala team is on the fact that 191 votes cast for him at Omukibare, only 91 were recorded and 100 were neglected.
Un confirmed sources told www.mknewslink.com that the reason as to why Kibala is insisting on vote recount at Omukibare polling station is that he ballot stuffed therefore when they recount, he will be the winner.
As we write this at 4:00pm, the applicant and the defendant with their lawyers and their witnesses are waiting for the judgment from the chief Magistrate Jane Mugara on whether to recount votes at Omukibare or all the 9 of the stations as requested by the defendants lawyer Julius Turinawe.
hey are also waiting for the chief magistrate to either dismiss the application and Naboth retains his win in Rwentuha town council.
