LUNATIC MAN DISCOVERED LIFELESS ON LAKE BUNYONYI

Police in Rubanda district is investigating circumstances under which 40 year old mentally disturbed man ended up in Lake Bunyonyi

The lifeless body of the deceased identified as Majidu Kyomukama alias Yakub a resident of  Murukoro village, Karegyere parish Muko sub county Rubanda district was yesterday found floating on Lake Bunyonyi.

It’s alleged that the deceased went missing yesterday 7th, April, 2021 from his home at around 7pm.

According to Elly Maate the Kigezi region police spokesperson, the body was discovered by Birunji Hassan a resident of  Karambo village, Ikamiro parish Muko sub county who later notified the people at Hisesero landing site.

He said that Police at Muko police post was called and they retrieved the body  from the lake and took it for postmortem.
