The minister for East African affairs Maj. Gen. Kahinda Otafire has revealed that good governance that president Musevein is practicing which does not involve killing of innocent Ugandans is as a result of the advice offered to the president by Amanya Mushega and others.

Kahinda said this today 25^th April 2021 while delivering the message from president Museveni to the family of Amanya Mushega during the burial of Mushega’s mother Yunia Mushega.

The burial took place in Bumbaire Bushenyi where thousands of people from Bushenyi, Kampala and other areas gathered to send off Ms. Yunia Mushega.

Otafire noted that during Amin and Obote governments, people would disappear and be murdered never to be seen again.

“How can a person like me of 110kgs get lost and is never seen again in future. The wise counsel of Amanya Mushega and others has compelled president Museveni from killing innocent Ugandans as well as disappearance,” Otafire noted.

Ms. Yunia Mushega died at the age of 96 years and her husband died 25 years ago. She has survived by 12 children, 6 girls and 6 boys.

Many dignitaries attended the burial and they included the bishop of West Ankole diocese Rt. Rev. Johnson Twinomujini who led the prayers, MP Arinda Gordon Cowboy, Minister Mary Karooro Okurut, Prof. Kabwegyere, and Maj. Gen. Jim Muhwezi.

Others are Hon Paul Mwiru from Jinja west, Dr. Eng. Silver Mugisha the MD NWSC, former MD NWSC Dr. William Muhairwe among others.
