WOMAN GANG RAPED, KILLED IN COLD BLOOD BY ASSAILANTS IN KISORO

Police in Kisoro are investigating circumstances under which a 45 year old woman was killed after a gang rape.

Teopista Nyiramahoro commonly known as Leah was raped and murdered in cold blood by un known assailants in Matinza Trading Center Gakoro village Rwingwe parish Nyakabande sub county Kisoro district.

According to residents, Teopista was raped, killed and her body dumped in the garden of beans near her home.

Elias Rukina, the Rwingwe Parish LCII chairperson narrated that Innocent Musabaa husband to the deceased called him at around 6:30 am telling him that his wife was found dead.

Innocent Musaba told www.mknewslink.com reporter that he came from Kampala but on reaching home the wife was not there.

Elly Maate the Kigezi Region Police spokesperson says that on Monday morning 7th June at around  7 am, Nyiramahoro was found murdered by unknown persons just around 700 meters away from her home.

Residents attributed crimes to huge numbers of foreigners mainly Rwandans who reside in the area.
