SLAIN BODY OF NEWLY BORN BABY FOUND IN HOIMA CITY

Police in Hoima City are investigating circumstances under which a slain body of a new born baby was dumped on the roadside of Kasasiro, Bujumbura East, Hoima west City division.

According to the levelers, the toddler’s body was on Sunday found covered in a box by the roadside in Bujumbura East cell, Hoima Oil City.

The body was taken by Hoima police for further examination and the mother of the baby remains unknown

Kasim Asiimwe, the area defence secretary condemned the act saying they are searching for the heartless mother.
