BUSHENYI COURT REMANDS 12 RWANDANS, 5 BURUNDIANS OVER ILLEGAL ENTRY INTO UGANDA

In Bushenyi—
Court in Bushenyi has remanded 17 foreigners to prison over illegal entry into the country.
The 12 Rwandans and five Burundians were on Saturday arrested from Buhweju district within the gold mines.
They were later transferred to Bushenyi central police station where they have been in custody until yesterday when they appeared before grade one magistrate’s court.
Her worship Stella Mwali remanded them to prison until 19 Nov. 2021 when they will reappear before court.
Ugandan security is currently on look for foreigners following bomb attacks in the country.
