BSU GRADUATES WARNED AGAINST CORRUPTION

Students graduating from universities have been challenged to desist from temptations of getting rich quickly through corrupt means.
The call has been made by H.E Yoweri Kaguta Museveni in his speech that was delivered on (Friday) by Her excellence the vice president of uganda , Jessica Alupo as she officiated at the 17th graduation ceremony of 1773 students at Bishop Stuart University in Kakoba Mbarara city.
Alupo challenged the graduands to be relevant to the societies they live in and focus much on re-eventing themselves by minding about needs of people .
She further encouraged graduands to utilize the available opportunities and use their skills acquired to cause transformation.
The vice president appealed to institutions of higher learning to focus much on transforming the minds of students through imparting knowledge of innovativeness and selflessness.
The Rt.Rev .Bishop Fred Sheldon Mwesigwa who is the Chancellor Bishop Stuart University extended appreciation to the Government of Uganda which supported the University in construction lecture rooms, science laboratory and the University Library which have contributed much success to university students over years .
Among the student’s who graduated today 932 were males and 840 females .
