GRIEF! FORMER KAZO COUNTY MP BAFAKI PERISHES IN ACCIDENT

Former Kazo county Member of Parliament Gordon Bafaki has reportedly perished in a fatal accident as he returned from Gen. Muhoozi Keinerugaba’s Sports Gala.

Bafaki who was yesterday in Nyakasharara, Nyabushozi , Kiruhura District among the guests that Graced the gala died last night at Kiwatule.

Preliminary reports from Kira police indicate the former MP’s motor vehicle registration number UBD 965E Toyota Land cruiser TX collided with motor vehicle registration number KBZ539Z/ZC8776 Benz trailer at around 0120/c in the morning at Kiwatule along the northern bypass

According to police reports, the fallen former Member of Parliament died on the way to Mulago and his body was taken to Mulago National referral hospital for a postmortem.

The accident scene was visited by police and the two motor vehicles were towed to Kira police station park yard pending I.O.V.

The driver of the trailer was arrested and taken to Kira police station as inquiries into the matter continue.

The late Gordon Bafaki was a Member of Parliament for the then Kazo Constituency in Kiruhura District from 2016-2021.
