IBANDA ARCHDEACONARY ARRANGES A MASS WEDDING

Ibanda archdeaconry poised to attain its own diocese named North West Ankole is arranging a mass wedding ceremony at St. Paul Anglican church to enable all married couples tie knots.
Bishop Sheldon Mwesigwa of Ankole diocese will preside over the ceremony with help of Can.Rev.Yoram Atwine and 19 couples who are not married officially have been advised to register so that church announcements commences to the Christians before July 30th 2016.
The number of couples who intend to participate at St. Paul church of Uganda is expected to rise over 30 couples.
However Can. Rev. George Katungi expressed concern over the increasing road carnage which has claimed many lives a long Masaka-Kampala high way due to over speeding and reckless of drivers and called upon the government to use its arm to punish such reckless drivers.
