75 YEAR OLD WOMAN FOUND DEAD IN KISORO

Police in Kisoro are investigating circumstances surrounding the death of Florence Hashimiki 75 a resident of Nyaruyaga village Nyamagana ward central division Kisoro Municipality.

Elly Maate, the Kigezi region Police spokesman says the body of the deceased was on Sunday 04/09/2022 at about 2100hrs discovered in her house lying in a pool of blood that oozed from the nose.

She was last seen on Friday 02/09/2022 in the evening at about 1800hours by her neighbor Nsabiyera Alice Annah

Maate explains that one of the neighbors of the deceased only identified as Mbonye 34, a resident of Bigina village, hospital Ward, Kisoro Municipality, on instructions of her son one Dr.Fred Nizeyimana went to the home to check on the old woman only to find her dead inside the house and in a pool of blood.
Dr.Nizeyimana Fred has been suspicious of why the mother’s phone number was off, which was unusual.
Maate says the scene was visited and examined, the body was conveyed to Kisoro hospital mortuary for postmortem.
