62-YEAR-OLD MAN KNOCKED DEAD BY VEHICLE IN KIKUUBE

Police in Kikuube are investigating circumstances under which a 62-year-old man was knocked dead by running vehicle in Buhimba town council Kikuube district.

According to the Albertine Region Police Spokesperson Julius Allan Hakiza, the gruesome incident happened on Thursday at around 21:00hrs along Kikuube – Hoima road.

He has identified the deceased as Moses Bandoho, a phone mechanic in the same area.

“We are investigating the main cause of the regrettable incident. The vehicle involved hasn’t been identified,” he said.

The police mouthpiece asserted that police rushed to the scene and evacuated the body to Kikuube health center mortuary pending postmortem.
