GEN.OTAFIRE, DEPUTY SPEAKER TAYEBWA OTHERS WARNED BY MITOOMA DEPUTY SPEAKER FOR NOT ATTENDING DISTRICT COUNCIL MEETINGS

The deputy speaker Mitooma local government has strongly warned Mps, Deputy speaker of parliament, Minister Kahinda Ottafire to stop dodging district councils with immediate effect.

Speaker Mucunguzi Kapoota revealed this in an exclusive interview with www.mknewslink.com managing editor today 8th/02/2023 in Mitooma town council.

He noted that it has become a habit for deputy speaker Tayebwe, Minister Maj.Gen. Kahinda Ottafire, Donozio Kahonda and Juliet Bashisha of dodging Mitooma District council meetings which is hampering development in the area.

He added that the views discussed in the above council are taken for granted by the leaders mentioned hence under development.

Speaker Kapoota noted that he is going to appeal to the voters if they continue not attending councils and hence they are voted out.
