SHEEMA WILL GET ITS OWN DIOCESE COME RAIN OR SHINE, IT HAS NEVER RECEIVED ANYTHING ON SILVER PLATE; DISTRICT, NGANWA HIGH SCHOOL AND NOW CENTRAL ANKOLE DIOCESE!

The former district councilor for Kyangyenyi sub county during Late Makaru and Longino’s district chairmanship Mrs. Idda Baryaruha has today Nov. 03, 2023 revealed that whatever project to be given to Sheema is always a hustle.
Mrs Idda Baryaruha who is also a wife to RTD Rev. Canon Baryaruha told www.mknewslink.com a greater western Uganda news website at st. Emmanuel C.O.U after a meeting of proposed central Ankole diocese quest volunteers that she is confident that their diocese will be given to them.
She noted that projects that come to sheema come through hardships like sheema district, Nganwa high school and now central Ankole diocese among others.

“When we were requesting for a district in 2010, we almost slept at big man’s home in Kashenshero Mitooma district being abused, non the less sheema was granted a district status in July 2010. Am therefore sure that central Ankole diocese will be granted not far from today” Mrs Idda Baryaruha hopefully said.
The meeting which was chaired by Mr. David Kagumira and Yokam Kamaringo was attended by among others about ten retired reverends.
The meeting of volunteers was coordinated by Mr. Banard Makaru and the attendees pledged money and items towards attaining requirements to be granted diocese.
Mrs Idda Baryaruha repeated the earlier accusation that the bishop of west Ankole diocese Rt. Rev. Johnson Twinomujuni never took their request to the province passed by diocesan synod.
She also castigated the remarks of Bishop Johnson in sept 2023 at st. Emmanuel C.O.U Kabwohe boosting that whoever needs a diocese has to beg him.
The meeting revealed that quest for a diocese by sheema Christians started way back in 1994 and its still on todate.
